Throughout the years I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing artists. Many have recorded with me multiple times like Shawn Mullins, Indigo Girls, and Sugarland. I also produced countless independent albums over the years. ALLMUSIC LINK
'Lullaby (Rockabye)' was the breakout hit for Shawn Mullins earning him a Grammy nomination. It was also the first album recording at the new Orphan Studio in 1998.
From his independent days to his major label albums, Shawn recorded 8 of his 13 albums with me.
An award winning children's album I co-wrote and produced. The hit 'Wag More' went to #1 on SiriusXM's KIDS Place Live channel 78.
Sugarland
'Become You' was the first full length album I recorded with the Indigo Girls. Along with Amy Ray's solo albums, I also recorded Amy and Emily singing on several other projects including Brandi Carlile, PINK!, Ann Murray, a Jackson Brown Tribute album, and Hootie and the Blowfish.
'All That We Let In' was the second full length album I did with the Indigo Girls. In 2013 I had the pleasure of recording a full band with Indigo Girls for a Jackson Brown Tribute album. Tracked everyting in a day. Chuck Levell played piano and Hammond. I mixed the song the following day and the album was released in 2014.
The first independent Sugarland album that gained the attention of the majors and got them signed to Universal. Many of these songs ended up on their multi-platinum major label debut.
After seeing Mayer perform locally, I knew he had something that set him apart from other singer/songwriters. John was a struggling artist, so I offerd to produce and record his first solo effort, 'Inside Wants Out'. This album got the attention of the majors and he was soon signed to Columbia Records. Many of these songs ended up on his major label multi-platinum debut.
